Indian Rice Exporters Federation

Indian Rice Exporters Federation (IREF) is the leading organization that stands tall as the voice of the rice board of India and represents the Indian rice sector in both domestic and international market. However, it would be inappropriate if we do not express our gratitude to the Government of India for their endeavor support and commendable initiatives. We are grateful to the government bodies for taking out their precious time to consider the suggestions of IREF that always comes in the favour of rice exporters.

We at IREF represent a diverse range of stakeholders in India's export sector who are actively involved in policy consultations, trade negotiations, and advocacy on trade regulations and compliance standards. We aim at maintaining unity across the diverse landscapes of Indian Rice Export sector. Backed by the team of experts, we stay in continuous touch with government officials and those linked with Indian rice sector to ensure that the farmers do not have to face any loss or problem during the rice growing season in India that may occur due to environmental factors or either due to lack of knowledge. The practices include but are not limited to setting up meeting with key officials, bridging the gap between farmers and govt. bodies, conducting meeting with officials to discuss trade policy and establishing a productive session by experts for farmers.

The Federation is strategically headquartered in New Delhi, with regional offices spanning across key states such as Jammu, Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, West Bengal, Maharashtra Vidarbha, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region of Maharashtra, Punjab, and Rajasthan.

Extensive Membership at IREF India

IREF India has an extensive membership base that comprises more than 7700 companies including 9 Trade Associations, 3 Chambers of Commerce, and 1 Council. Further, it also consists of 22 other Cooperative Societies in its membership community. This membership encompasses rice exporters, millers, Custom House Agents (CHAs), and packaging manufacturers, collectively serving as a robust foundation of the rice export ecosystem in India.

Role as the Voice of Rice Federation

The Indian Rice Exporters Federation operates under the guiding motto of "One Nation, One Trade, One Policy," emphasizing the Federation's commitment to fostering unity and coherence across the diverse landscapes of India's rice export sector. We work with the motto of creating a unified policy framework that benefits all stakeholders—ranging from exporters and millers to packaging manufacturers and trade associations.

We aim to mitigate regional disparities, optimize the ease of doing business, and facilitate seamless trade operations. This cohesive strategy serves not just the members of rice federation but also aligns with the broader national objectives of enhancing competitiveness in global markets while supporting domestic growth.
